After 30 years in the security industry, we established KAY9 Security Solutions Ltd in October 2013, to specialise in the training and supply of security dog handlers. We are a highly successful family-run, Yorkshire-based business supplying specialised security services to warehouses, building sites, large estates, private houses, open spaces and more. All our dogs and handlers are professionally trained to BIPDT (British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers) Standards, to ensure that you and your property are secure and safe at all times.
Our reputation for service excellence extends to all parts of Yorkshire. To effectively protect and secure your business, we build trust through our performance and industry expertise. We have a wide customer base that has been with us for many years, repeatedly using our services and strengthening our reputation.
We use German Shepherd and Belgian Shepherd dogs because they are loyal, bold and courageous; they are completely self-confident and utterly fearless and because of all these qualities, it's no wonder they are the world's number one police and military dogs.
These dogs are incredibly strong and athletic, needing lots of exercise and mental stimulation every day to keep them in top condition. They won't back down if challenged and because of their high intelligence, they learn commands very quickly.
Renowned as a ‘one man’ dog, they bond closely with their handler for whom they respect and trust, making them excellent guard dogs.
We are proud to hold a number of leading industry accreditations and affiliations to industry recognised associations and all of our security guards are Security Industry Authority Badged and Approved and our dog handlers are trained to BIPDT (British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers) Standards.
