His dedication is second to none, and he is the only Managing Director I know who spot-checks his staff himself!

I am police constable 5 Morton of North Yorkshire Police, I am a beat manager and work out of Eggborough police station where I have worked for over 7 years. My role is to engage with all local authorities, communities and businesses in the area as well as carry out day to day police duties / Enforcements.
Over the last few years I have got to know David Batty. Mr Batty has always shown willingness to support the police and the community, and has even devoted some of his free services to help out around the district, which has been of great help and reassurance to those he had supported. I am also aware that while he has been on duty in his security role he has often rang the police where suspicious activity has taken place, and upon police arrival suspects have been caught, arrested and successful convictions obtained.
I am happy to support Mr Batty with any applications, as he has always shown excellent support to both the Community and the Police.
